Enquiries and legal bases
We collect your first name, email, selected service, message and chosen language. Surname is optional. We use these details to understand and answer your enquiry and discuss a project. Please do not include sensitive information or unnecessary details about other people.
Steps you request before a contract rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable. General correspondence, including enquiries on behalf of a business, relies on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f). Required fields are needed to submit the form; without a working contact address we cannot reply. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Providers and processing locations
Hosting and email providers process information needed to serve the website and deliver enquiries. The form sends your message to our configured inbox, with your email as the reply-to address. The website application does not maintain an enquiry database.

Retention and deletion
We retain enquiries that do not lead to a project for up to 24 months after our last substantive communication, to allow follow-up on a possible project. We delete them earlier when no longer needed, unless continued retention is necessary for a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Security and technical data
The server receives your IP address and normal request information. To protect the service from abuse, a temporary IP-based counter limits contact submissions in 15-minute windows. Expired counters are removed on the next contact request or server restart. This serves our legitimate interest in a secure, available service (Article 6(1)(f)). Hosting log retention is listed above.
Cookies and browser storage
Administrators who sign in receive the strictly necessary frikal_admin session cookie for up to eight hours. It authenticates newsroom access and is not used for visitor tracking. The server stores a hashed session identifier and expiry. Publication audit records contain the action, post ID and actor type; records older than 90 days are removed on the next editing action.
No optional cookie or tracking services are currently enabled. Browsing the website and sending an enquiry do not require optional cookies. We do not show a consent banner when there is nothing optional to accept.
If optional services are enabled and you save a choice, a first-party browser-storage entry named frikal-consent records your selected purposes, configuration version and expiry for up to 180 days. It is used only to remember and apply your privacy choice. It is not an advertising identifier and is not sent to our server by the consent controls.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice as easily as you accepted. Expired or changed settings require a new choice. If browser storage is blocked, your choice lasts only for the current page session. Language is selected through the page URL.
Fonts and website assets
Manrope and Noto Sans are served from this website under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Your browser does not need to contact Google Fonts. Their licence notices are available below.
Request access, correction or deletion
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data where the relevant conditions apply. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent you have given. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Email us from the address used for your enquiry and briefly describe your request. You do not need an account or a special form. Do not send identity documents unless we ask for proportionate verification when necessary.
We normally respond within one month, without charge. If a permitted extension is necessary, we will explain it within that month. We may need to retain specific records for legal obligations or legal claims and will explain any refusal or limitation.
You may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority, including where you habitually live or work in the EU. This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
